The equivalent Kenmore part number is 32-83378. Whirlpool pre-filter # 8171434K will fit Kenmore Progressive air purifiers for models 83200 and 83202. I bought this for my Kenmore Progressive air purifier and compared it to the Kenmore replacement pre-filters that I had previously bought from Sears. The filters are an exact match; even the box is the same except for what is printed on it. At the time of this writing Sears charges $10 more for the Kenmore part number than Whirlpool. They may function fine but I specifically purchased them because they advertised them as a known quantity - the original Whirlpool filters which come in a Whirlpool branded box with a specific product number. |
